WHY, within dominate, hegemonic, gay male (corporate) culture, is "barebacking" not seen, or refused to be seen, as a viable and valuable "art of living," a "technology of the self," with unknown and "known" others? Does the prohibition to "barebacking" participate in "bio-power's" order to remain a productive and healthy body (which "bio-power's" prohibition assumes in advance that "barebacking" will lead to HIV and AIDS)? Does this prohibition protect the interests of capital?
